Clare joined the practice in 2014 and became a partner a year later. Graduating from Glasgow vet school in 1996, Clare has spent her veterinary career in first opinion, ambulatory work. She started in mixed practice in the North of England gaining experience in all aspects of small animal, farm and equine medicine. After two years, with her love of horses, Clare decided to move into equine practice and came to Buckinghamshire where she has been ever since. Clare has gained vast experience in all matters equine but her main areas of interest include lameness investigations, poor performance in the equine athlete, stud work and more recently becoming fully trained in equine acupuncture. Clare has extensive experience in all aspects of stud medicine and enjoyed a 6-month sabbatical in New Zealand where she worked purely as a stud vet perfecting her skills in both chilled and frozen AI. When not working, Clare is kept busy by her daughter and her 2 horses. Edna, a warmblood x TB, was bought as a 6-month-old filly as a project and is now broken in and ready to start her ridden career. Tatler, is her lovable but cheeky and very confident homebred by the stallion Timolin. An exciting competition prospect for the future.
